Why is the lead-time getting longer?

Normally it takes us 7-15 work days to finish an order,but we it needs more time at the end of every year.First,Chinese new year is coming,our production department started shift,so some of our workers can have their holiday ahead.we don’t have enough operators for the machine.

Second,we have orders in the list,most customers placed their next-year order at this time,new orders have to wait in line,so it will take longer.

why is the shipping cost so expensive?
